The fit was amazing. The shorts are so comfortable and they didn’t budge at all. Also true to size. They were easy to use and the washing was really simple. The best thing about them was definitely how much more comfortable and simple they make running during that time of the month.

from 2143 reviewsI have placed two orders with Wuka now and have been happy with both orders.
I have eczema so wearing a pad during the night would sometimes result in a flare up due to the plastic trim/ getting too hot and sweaty in my sleep. I ordered some of the fuller ‘Bridget Jones’ style pants for this purpose and have found them really comfy and a great alternative to wearing a pad. I’d definitely recommend for anyone who hates wearing pads but is wary of overnight tampon use.
I also have bought a couple of the light flow level thongs, these are perfect for the tail end of a period and I wear them to go to the gym/ workout, they go great under leggings/ shorts where you’d prefer to have a no VPL situation. My only gripe with these is I did order one of the stretch ones which spans a few sizes, I find it to be really long/ tall? It can begin to roll down a little as well. The thong from my first order however is sold in more specific sizes and I found this suited more so it may be worth bearing in mind.
Overall I think they’re great pants, comfy, convenient. They make periods less of a hassle/ stress and make things more comfy, anything that can achieve that is greatly appreciated in my book. I’d certainly buy more in future as needed and would recommend giving them a go 😊
I have a few products now, knickers, sports products and shorts, all are great! Good quality and do the job
My daughter has learning disabilities, and while she was ok with period products with support, I was always concerned that she would have a mishap at school or out and about. We tried a high street period pants but they leaked, then I saw Wuka and decided to try them. They just work. I think because they move with her and fit closely there have been no leaks, and they don't bunch up. She always takes spares to school, but they last the whole school day and she changes when she gets home. They don't smell, and I just put them in the washing machine as she takes them off and leave them to dry overnight. We're gradually building up a little collection now. She also has a swimming costume, and that's great too, similarly, it doesn't move and she hasn't had any worries with leaks. These are worth every penny, and I wish they'd been around when I was younger!
I've been using and recommending WUKA pants for several years now. I particularly love the bikini bottoms, so comfy and discreet, and even pretty. Fabulous after the menopause for avoiding little leaks in tennis matches, on long walks and when dancing the night away.
Also just started taking the iron gummies, working a treat for me and quite delicious too.
Bought a set for my daughter who has ASD and struggles to manage heavy periods. These have been a god send. She wears them to school and she hasn’t had a single leak. I would highly recommend.
These period pants are amazing. They make having a period so much earlier for myself and my daughter. I can actually go out without having to worry about changing a pad every hour and I no longer have to wear cycle shorts to bed, just to keep my underwear and pad in place overnight. Well done Wuka! We love the different fabrics, the different colours and the swimwear 😀
Every day feels like period roulette…. These great products are comfortable, wash well but more importantly give me the confidence to actually Live my life and leave the house. Worth every penny for the peace of mind they give me.
Love my wuka pants. I feel do much more comfortable and well protected. I forget I even have them on and going about my normal day us easy. So grateful
Like so many others I was sceptical about period underwear. The usual questions of course; would I leak, would they really work all day and epically overnight, would they be a smell, would I have an issue washing them. The answer is that all my fears were put to bed and I wouldn’t be without them!! An added benefit is as a ply sized woman size 18-20 UK, they don’t roll, dig in, or have any issues covering me up. They work and they’re comfortable. I’m even able to leave the house if I need to, when day 1-3 of my cycle this wasn’t possible. In summary: get them! I recommend to anyone who will listen and I love the ethos and purpose of this company. A very happy customer.
I have PCOS which causes me to have long, extremely heavy periods. I’ve had times when I couldn’t go an hour without bleeding through a pad or tampon. Having to sit on towels most of the time when I was bleeding which felt embarrassing. These are comfortable and doesn’t look like I’m wearing a nappy! Wuka pants have helped me so much. From being able to sleep through a night to saving money on pads and tampons, they’ve really helped!
I love that I can just put on pants and no longer have to worry about getting liners etc at the shops. My favourite is the nighttime pairs that give me reassurance things aren’t going to slip and leak!
I have to say I was a little sceptical at first because I was scared of leaks and smells. However, I could no longer wear tampons so I decided to buy a starter pack and see how I got on. I have got myself into a good rhythm of knowing when to wear light through to heavy and back to light which means that I have not looked back. I am much happier managing my periods in a more sustainable and comfortable way.
Oh and - no leaks, no smells! Winner!
I have been using WUKA for a good couple of years now and love them! So comfortable, hassle free and great value for money as well as great for the environment. I have tried a different brand of period underwear and they were no where near the quality&comfort of WUKA. I've since bought a pair for my sister for after her C-Section (She loved them!) and I've stocked up on the teen stretch range for my 12yo daughter, so she is ready when the time comes.
I highly recommend WUKA to all, they are a game-changer!
Getting period pants changed my experience of periods. I was so fed up of sanitary towels; I am quite an active person, and maybe had some rubbish pads, but they just wouldn't stay in place, and, as a consequence, I would frequently leak. So I figured that as I usually had to wash stains out of my pants anyway, I might as well try period pants, as then I would be expecting to have to rinse them out. But washing them isn't too much of a faff, and it's actually quite therapeutic to rinse all the blood away. And, as well as feeling better about not using so many single use, wasteful products, I hardly ever leak anymore! There have been the odd occasion, when I haven't had time to change my pants for ages, or differences in the climate have caused a heavier flow than I was expecting, and they are also not very convenient when travelling, as they are quite bulky to pack, but for the most part, they are an absolute winner. Even for a whole day at work, I can just use the little wuka bag, with one zip up compartment for clean pants, and one for dirties, and then sort it all out when I get home.
I would really recommend them to everyone! I have loads of pairs, light, medium and heavy flow, and one pair of super heavy for night time. I think it is more economical to buy a lot at once, and then I just save some to replace the others when they get a bit past it.
Bought these for my Autisic daughter who has complex sensory needs. I can say it's been a life saver! They give her amazing support,so comfortable and no leakage and much more manageable than using pads and having to get her to change consistently.I bought the heavy flow and never had an issue last the full school day and easy to wash and dry.
